There’s A New Energy In The Department

In the opening months of 2010, things are looking up.

The recession thing is finally out of the door, with companies coming in to hire more and more of final-year students. Pre-final students are looking forward to ample placements in a year or so and the first-year students beginning to enjoy the main campus.

TSS Activities
Every family has to face some problems at one time or the other. Your Technical Students’ Society also had a bad patch recently, but it’s over now.

And beginning this week, there’ll be a “Tech Week”- one full week of activities and fun. We promise that we’ll have your favorite activities, no matter how choosy you are :)

Now, you have to promise that you’ll be there, coz we exist to serve you.

Warm regards,
Aggarwal

Professsional Viability

right now there are about a zillion students passing out as engineers, there are more who are regular bachelors, masters..that too in various fields.

and most of the insittutes are least equipped with new technologies, and even if they do, the faculty is not interested in being in touch with the latest in technologies, business trends....basically what the industry needs....

so that results in you learning A while the industry needs B.

then comes the point of what you can excel at, you can't tell that but teachers who can, are not in a place to do that, because what they know of the real world is as old as the date they started teaching from. (excluding a very few who take the pain)

the other people who can do that are Alumni, but sadly our Alumni network is as good as dead....

so with a few students there at campus, who are dilligent we are coming up with A.S.K Alumni...i'll keep this under wraps until its done.

cause if those who are supposed to work don't, the ones who can have to act...

WHY DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO ?

whenever you think about your career, a certain uncertainity comes to your mind, about how your stuck where you are and what can you do about it....and whenever that happens we do three things

1. forget the thought and move ahead, worryless!
2. worry and worry, think deepley about it...
3. doing something about it.

now, the point is that what exactly you can do without any guidance? well, think of a career path like a wide river....your ability to affect life is like two shafts on both sides of the river, you can't stop the river from flowing, but you can change the path of its flow.

so take the steps you feel are right and believe me you'll never regret that decision.

and well about intution, start believing it...its the best thing you have.

chow !
